The Data Logging Rain Gauge is a fully self-contained, battery-powered rainfall data collection and recording system. It includes a HOBO Event data logger integrated into a tipping-bucket rain gauge. The RG3 automatically records up to 160" (320 cm for the RG3-M) of rainfall data that can be used to determine rainfall rates, times and duration. A time and date stamp is stored for each 0.01" (0.2 mm for the RG3-M) tip event for detailed analysis.
